Clarence has been in the professional music scene for the past 20 years. A vocalist/guitarist by profession, Clarence is also the bassist and lead singer of the He’Arts Since 2000, he has been performing as a soloist at Beach Hut, East Coast on weekdays and with the full band “He’Arts” on weekends.
On the music education, Clarence has been instructing guitar in schools for the past 9 years. He has attained the Yamaha Grade 7 and Trinity Grade 5 in classical guitar performance. His track record are as follows:

Clarence has received rave reviews from these schools simply because of his passion for teaching and imparting guitar skills to the young. He is patient and carries a caring heart in all his teaching engagements. His excels best in teaching the primary level
In the 2010 SYF (Guitar Ensemble) for primary schools, Clarence instructed Anderson Primary School who attained the Gold with Honours under the baton of Mr. Alvyn Eng with music arranged by Michael Gaspar.
Clarence wrote and co-produced the songs for the album entitled “A Children’s Miracle” in 1999 which was sponsored by a Canadian bank for a charity project for autistic children
He was the vocal arranger of the Avant Garde Promotions creative team that produced the 12 FAS S’League clubs’ cheers and club theme songs in 2001.
With his local pop group, “He-Arts” has released their first album entitled “Move On All The Way” and was the vocal group that recorded the soundtrack for the local movie “Talking Cock” in 2002.
In between his school teaching and performing schedule, he gives private lessons in acoustic guitar.
