I LOVE MY UKELELE
This course has been specially structured to enable students to effectively learn basic ukelele chords and various rhythm/strum patterns. In doing so, they then render their voices to blend with the ukelele. At every session, the students will apply what they have learnt with a selected song. The course repertoire is an interesting mix of Singaporean songs, ASEAN folk songs and Hawaiian favourites.

A MUSICAL JOURNEY THROUGH GUITAR ENSEMBLE PLAYING (FORMERLY GUITAR ENSEMBLE COURSE)
This course includes classical guitar techniques and ensemble skills like sight-reading, positional melodic playing, tremolos, pizzicatos and staccatos. Guitarists will cultivate and develop a sense of musical understanding among fellow players in an ensemble performing a wide genre of musical styles of classical, jazz, latin, popular and ASEAN music.

ENJOYING LATIN MUSIC WITH GUITAR AND PERCUSSIONS
Aims to instil in students rhythmical sense, aural awareness and musical knowledge. Introducing latin music via instruments like guitar and percussions. Eventual assessment on performing Latin music learned through the process of group work and practice. Hence teamwork, communicative skills and the development of an all-rounded personality is achieved. We have recently developed a pop song writing module under this course.

HAWAII 5-0: INTRODUCING THE BEAUTY OF HAWAIIAN MUSIC
To create an awareness of Hawaiian music through performance. Various traditional and popular Hawaiian songs will be performed with narrations explaining the background of the different songs and various instruments used. Five types of guitars will be introduced through the entire performance which are the Treble ukelele, Soprano ukelele, Hawaiian lap steel guitar, Hawaiian resonator guitar and the Double bass.
The colours, timbre and sound of the chosen guitars will truly exemplify the beauty of Hawaiian music that will leave the audience captivated and wanting more. Students will learn simple historical facts of the exquisite beauty and charm of music from Hawaii through short narratives between songs. They will be also aware of the different types of guitars used to play original Hawaiian music under this course.

ENJOYING POPULAR MUSIC WITH GUITAR AND CAJONS
This course has been specially structured to enable students to effectively learn basic guitar chords and various rhythm/strum patterns. In so doing, they then render their voices to blend with the guitar. Also, they will learn to play the cajons to accompany the guitars in rhythm thus giving their learning an added element of percussion playing. At every session, the students will apply what they have learnt with a selected song. The course repertoire is an interesting mix of Current Popular Hits. At the end of the course, students will be able play an array of rhythm/strum patterns to accompany songs from different genres of music. The objectives of the course are to equip students with creative skills like music appreciation, aural perception and teamwork. These attributes will play an integral part in developing the personality, communicative skills and arts appreciation of the students.
